{"id":107977,"date":"2026-03-31T14:53:56","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T22:53:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=107977"},"modified":"2026-03-31T14:53:58","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T22:53:58","slug":"submit-fox360-alerts-for-traditional-undergraduates-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2026\/03\/31\/submit-fox360-alerts-for-traditional-undergraduates-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Submit Fox360 alerts for traditional undergraduates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This time of the semester can be difficult for students as the excitement of a new term wanes, exams and assignments pile up, and the demands of college take a toll on physical and mental health<\/p>\n<p>If you have concerns about a traditional undergraduate student, log into <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/Fox360.georgefox.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox360<\/a><\/strong> to submit an alert for the student.<\/p>\n<p>You can submit alerts for concerns in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Academic<\/strong> &#8211; Missing multiple classes or consistently poor academic performance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Behavioral<\/strong> &#8211; Concerning or disruptive behaviors in or outside of class; frequent absence from scheduled work shifts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emotional<\/strong> &#8211; Mental health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety), unusual emotional expression, or suicidal ideation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical<\/strong> &#8211; Medical concerns; extreme changes in grooming or personal care<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social<\/strong> &#8211; Personal, social, or family concerns that are affecting well-being and performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A few notes about alerts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If a student is enrolled in your course but hasn\u2019t attended class or engaged in George Fox online activity, submit an alert.<\/li>\n<li>Student employee supervisors and other non-faculty are invited to submit alerts for the reasons above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Student Support Network will assign a \u201ccase manager\u201d to follow up with students. Case managers will do our best to give updates to faculty and employees who submit alerts or provide feedback. You are welcome to contact Jere Witherspoon at <a href=\"mailto:jwithers@georgefox.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jwithers@georgefox.edu<\/a>\u00a0to inquire about the status of a student.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1P2XvujhNGbZCuVeWpXD6mbvDXscC0VjN\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox360 Quick Guide<\/a><\/strong> provides a visual overview of the Fox360 system.
