Take care of all your pesky to-do\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">now<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, so you don\u2019t have to worry about them this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete the following tasks by <\/span><b>May 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to get an accurate picture of your expected balance for the fall 2026 term and make plans this summer for payment (due on <strong>Aug. 15<\/strong>):<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">File your <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>2026-27 FAFSA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oregonstudentaid.gov\/fafsa-orsaa\/fafsaorsaa-filter-tool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>ORSAA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as soon as possible if you want to access federal and\/or state financial aid.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you use loans this year? Are you planning to use them next year?
