You may have some outstanding financial aid tasks, and it\u2019s important to start working on those <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">now<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> so you have an accurate picture of your fall balance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are the steps you should complete by <\/span><b>May 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do you want to access federal financial aid? <\/span><b>File your <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>2026-27 FAFSA<\/b><\/a> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as soon as possible<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if you have not done so already.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you use loans this year? Are you planning to use them next year? You can<\/span><b> accept or decline your federal Stafford loans<\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> today<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in MyGeorgeFox. (If you change your mind, we can always adjust them later!) Here are some <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1MHc6bznjE1-0QCN9TcO7UQQf4dlG33wSSm7PlAsVQSY\/edit#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">instructions<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on how to do that.<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Considering a <\/span><b>Parent PLUS Loan or a private loan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?
