A few, however, might be struggling with the demands of college, family, health, or personal care.<\/p>\n<p>If you have concerns about a traditional undergraduate student, log into <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/Fox360.georgefox.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox360<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to submit an \u201calert\u201d for the student. Submit alerts for concerns in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Academic &#8211;<\/strong> Missing multiple classes; consistently poor academic performance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Behavioral &#8211;<\/strong> Concerning or disruptive behaviors in or outside of class; frequent absence from scheduled work shifts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emotional &#8211;<\/strong> Mental health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety); unusual emotional expression; suicidal ideation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical &#8211;<\/strong> Medical concerns; extreme changes in grooming, personal care<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social &#8211;<\/strong> Personal, social, or family concerns that are affecting well-being and performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A few notes about alerts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If a student is enrolled in your course but hasn\u2019t attended class or engaged in George Fox online activity, submit an alert.<\/li>\n<li>Student employee supervisors and other non-faculty are invited to submit alerts for the reasons above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Student Support Network will assign a \u201ccase manager\u201d to follow up with students. Case managers will do our best to give updates to faculty and employees who submit alerts or provide feedback. You are welcome to contact Jere Witherspoon at <a href=\"mailto:jwithers@georgefox.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jwithers@georgefox.edu<\/a>\u00a0to inquire about the status of a student.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1P2XvujhNGbZCuVeWpXD6mbvDXscC0VjN\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This Fox360 Quick Guide<\/a><\/strong> provides a visual overview of the Fox360 system.
