Here&#8217;s a simple fix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Turning off iCloud Private Relay is a common move if you&#8217;re finding that certain websites aren&#8217;t loading correctly or if your network speed feels a bit throttled. The process varies slightly depending on whether you&#8217;re on a mobile device or a Mac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>On iPhone or iPad:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the <\/span><b>Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> app.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap your <\/span><b>Name (Apple Account)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the very top.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>iCloud<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scroll down to the <\/span><b>iCloud+<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> section and tap <\/span><b>Private Relay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toggle the <\/span><b>Private Relay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> switch to <\/span><b>Off<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will be asked to confirm. You can choose to:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Turn Off Until Tomorrow:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It will automatically re-enable after 24 hours.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Turn Off Private Relay:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This disables it indefinitely until you manually turn it back on.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>On Mac (macOS):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Apple Menu ()<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and select <\/span><b>System Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click your <\/span><b>Name (Apple Account)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the top of the sidebar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>iCloud<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the right.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Find <\/span><b>Private Relay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and click it (or click the &#8220;Options&#8221; button next to it).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toggle the switch to <\/span><b>Off<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just like on mobile, select either <\/span><b>Turn Off Until Tomorrow<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>Turn Off Private Relay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Done<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: Turning off Private Relay means Safari will no longer mask your IP address, allowing websites and your ISP to see your general location and browsing activity again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Questions?
