Consider using this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1unOWdI6IfNi6TQO9zmqic-VOLzFkJvcB9-181211OGU\/edit?tab=t.2k1i7mfhk639#heading=h.cxixp0std1us\">AI usage policy guide<\/a> to provide students with guidelines on the use of AI tools for assignments.<\/p>\n<p>The guide can be used on a case-by-case basis, adjusting expectations based on the goals of an assignment. After making a copy of the Google Doc, faculty members can add, remove or edit the options to fit their course or assignment.<\/p>\n<p>If you allow AI use, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/17x87-l7K8M1rUIqjfkJse-qwDgGE1Rq6yGcvagKH7Vw\/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.khp3mc1z4hgc\">this document<\/a> provides examples of AI usage acknowledgement statements that could serve as examples for students.
