Stop dropping calls with Wi-Fi calling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your cell signal is weak in a conference room, office or basement, you can still make crystal-clear calls. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The solution is <\/span><b>Wi-Fi calling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What is Wi-Fi calling, and why do you need it?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wi-Fi calling lets your phone make and receive calls and texts over a Wi-Fi network instead of a weak cell network.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It uses your <\/span><b>regular phone number<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014it&#8217;s not a separate app<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s the perfect fix for indoor &#8220;dead zones&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Call quality is often much clearer<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s included with most mobile plans at <\/span><b>no extra cost<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to enable Wi-Fi calling (it takes 30 seconds!)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>For iPhone:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to<strong> &#8220;<\/strong><\/span><strong>Settings&#8221;<\/strong> <b>&gt;<\/b> <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><b>Apps&#8221; &gt; &#8220;Phone&#8221;<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/span><b>Wi-Fi Calling&#8221;<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toggle &#8220;Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone&#8221; to <\/span><b>on<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><b>For Android:<\/b><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/span><b>Settings&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the \u201cSearch Settings\u201d bar, type <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/span><b>Wi-Fi Calling&#8221;<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/span><b>Wi-Fi Calling&#8221;<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toggle it <strong>on<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Important:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> When you enable Wi-Fi calling, you must confirm your address for 911 emergency services.
