This updated policy is designed to support your events and initiatives while keeping our campus clean and welcoming.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a basic definition of each:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Displays generally consist of a number of images or ideas intended to engage the campus community, create awareness, or generate discussion.<\/li>\n<li>Posters are typically used to advertise a specific event or promote activities for an officially recognized club or organization.<\/li>\n<li>Chalking is the act of writing or drawing with water-soluble chalk on approved outdoor surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can find all the details you need in the Student Handbook&#8217;s &#8220;Policy for Student Posters, Displays, and Chalking&#8221; section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key reminders<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please read these specific policies carefully to ensure your materials are approved and compliant.<\/li>\n<li>Approval process: All posters, displays, and chalking content must be approved by the Office of Student Life before being placed.<\/li>\n<li>Approved locations: Only post on designated bulletin boards, posting kiosks, or sandwich boards.<\/li>\n<li>Prohibited areas: Do <strong>not<\/strong> post on walls, windows or doors. Also, please note that chalking is prohibited on vertical surfaces, under overhangs, or on the Crisman Crossing bridge or the chapel sidewalks.<\/li>\n<li>Adhesion and removal: Use push pins or removable tape only, and remember to remove your materials once your event is over.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have questions?
