These items often include blankets, clothing, kitchen supplies, small appliances, etc.  In an effort to keep the dumpsters from overflowing and to be better stewards of the resources, Phase II was initiated. Plant Services is happy to receive anything that students do not want to take home.<\/p>\n<p>The items gathered are sorted and made available to student summer help and staff, but most of the items are given to different organizations in the local area, such as Rescue Mission, Goodwill, unwed mothers&#8217; homes, Love Inc., etc.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Please do not donate damaged or soiled items.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Barrels will be placed in the lobbies of the dorms and central living areas (porches of Weesner, Beals, Hoskins, Munn, Wilder, Villa Road Houses, Newlin Apartments, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Please do not place trash in the barrels labeled &#8220;Phase II.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>There are drop boxes for your trash located strategically on the campus.<\/li>\n<li>By law, computers, monitors and TVs cannot go into the trash. They can be placed beside the barrels (please note if broken).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions?
