In honor of Black History Month, we would like to offer the opportunity to go to the final segment in the series entitled, “Love, Literature, and a Black Man’s Escape from the Crowd” with guest speaker and author Thomas Chatterton Williams on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Williams is a writer for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the Atlantic, and author of Losing My Cool.
There are a limited number of spots available in the George Fox van. So, if YOU would like to attend this event, please come to the student life office on the third floor of Stevens and sign up.
We will be taking one van, and leaving the Stevens parking lot at 5:20 p.m. The event starts at 7 p.m. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me, Amber Nelson, at nelsona@georgefox.edu
