This is what rolled through me when I tried:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so much better, so much more civilized;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Western eyes roll in disgust;<\/p>\n<p>Atrocities through three generations;<\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t we have our own Wild Swans?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We call ourselves genteel, less cruel;<\/p>\n<p>Do we afford a different dignity than they?<\/p>\n<p>Three women and their consorts, possessed and owned;<\/p>\n<p>Freedom revoked rings a bell.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Building revolution on the backs of the people;<\/p>\n<p>Claiming destruction as necessity;<\/p>\n<p>Removing obstacles, or are they heralds?<\/p>\n<p>Shut them down.
