George Fox University’s annual Christmas concert performed Dec. 11-13

NEWBERG, Ore. – George Fox University’s annual Christmas concert, “All is Calm, All is Bright!,” will take place Friday through Sunday, Dec. 11-13. More than 175 students representing 10 musical groups will perform traditional Christmas carols, new arrangements of Christmas songs, narration and Scripture reading.
The concert will be presented Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11-12, at 7:30 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium on the George Fox University Newberg campus. The Sunday, Dec. 13 performance is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. at Village Baptist Church, 330 S.W. Murray Blvd., in Beaverton, Ore. Preconcert music will be offered beginning a half hour before each of the performances.
The cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and George Fox alumni, and $6 for students and children. Tickets may be purchased online.
Participating will be the university’s Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale, Handbell Ringers, Symphonic Band, Strings, Chamber Singers, Brass Quintet, Early Music Ensemble, Flute Ensemble and Clarinet Ensemble. The presentation will be led by instrumental director Pat Vandehey and choral director Loren Wenz.
