George Fox invites families to campus for Family Weekend Nov. 6-8

NEWBERG, Ore. – George Fox University is inviting parents and other family members of current students to visit campus for the university’s annual Family Weekend, scheduled Friday through Sunday, Nov. 6-8, on the Newberg, Ore., campus.

The weekend allows family members to explore the campus life students experience every day. On Friday, events include a dinner, holiday bazaar, jazz concert, and theatre production, “The Diviners.”

On Saturday, three faculty lectures will be presented, as well as a music department concert at 4 p.m., another showing of “The Diviners” at 7:30 p.m., and family bingo at 8 p.m. in Heacock Commons.

The weekend will conclude with a 10 a.m. worship service Sunday in Bauman Auditorium.

There will also be a sale at the University Bookstore from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Online registration and more information are available at familyweekend.georgefox.edu. Refunds cannot be made after Friday, Oct. 30.
