Incight scholarship helps student enroll at George Fox

NEWBERG, Ore. – George Fox University senior Jason Wessell, a graduate of Southridge High School, has recieved a $750 scholarship from Incight, a Portland-based nonprofit group that educates and employs people with disabilities.
Wessell finished high school with a GPA of 3.6 and is a history major at George Fox.
In 2006, Incight awarded 58 scholarships, three internships, and 15 students in its eMentoring program, which matches scholarship recipients with mentors working in business, government, and nonprofit organizations.
Universities and colleges with Incight scholarships last year included University of Portland, Stanford University Graduate School, Princeton University, Michigan State University, Fordham University for Law, Oregon State University, University of Oregon, University of Washington, University of Alabama, and University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Incight has raised more than $500,000 to date through the support of several foundations, corporations and individuals.
