Every year George Fox University has a Lip Sync competition. Every year students put together wild mash-ups of songs ranging in genre from classics to the latest hip-hop beats. And every year the acts get more and more outrageous. This year was no exception.

The Operation Christmas Child packing party was a big success Sunday, as over 900 shoeboxes were packed in two hours, bringing the grand total to 1,274 this year.

Items like toothbrushes and toothpaste, school supplies and toys were gathered, sorted and packed for children in need.

Continuing the Vision

George Fox students are making a difference in the world today. With guidance from university mentors, they enjoy many opportunities to make Jesus known throughout all walks of society.

George Fox, a.k.a. Home

As a freshman in college I lived solely off of adrenaline. Adrenaline from finishing a 10 page Spanish essay just in the nick of time or adrenaline from leaving for a road trip at 11:00 p.m. and getting home with barely enough time to take a shower and head to class. However, as a junior I am noticing that those crazy, adrenaline seeking events are fewer and a little farther between. Life in an apartment is far different than dorm life. But, it makes those exciting times so much sweeter. Continue reading
