When you need statistics

One of the best places to look for economic, social, and political statistics on the USA is the Statistical Abstract of the United States.  Published by the U. S. Census Bureau since 1878, it draws its data from the Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, and many other Federal agencies and private organizations.  It includes an A-Z Subjects Index, browseable topic sections, summary statistics, and links to many other resources.
