With heat wave coming, take precautions to stay cool

Have you seen the weather forecast? Temperatures are expected to exceed 100 degrees the middle part of this week, so Plant Services recommends you take precautions to ensure your office or living area doesn’t get too hot.

During the day, keep your windows and blinds closed. This will prevent your space from heating to the outside temperature. Temperatures are only supposed to get to about 70 degrees at night, so leaving your windows open overnight may not help cool things down. Use your best judgement to determine if doing so helps your situation.

Employees: If you are experiencing issues with your building’s air conditioning, please call Plant Services immediately.
