Make plans to attend Soheil Nasseri’s piano concert tomorrow night

The music of Schubert, Schumann, Beethoven and Gershwin will fill Bauman Auditorium when Soheil Nasseri, an internationally renowned pianist, performs for the university’s 11th annual Bösendorfer Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday).

All employees and students are entitled to one free ticket. Additional tickets are $12 for general admission, $8 for seniors and alumni, and $6 for students and children under 12. All tickets are reserved seating and are available at this link or at the University Box Office by calling 503-554-3844.

Nasseri has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Berlin’s Philharmonie and Konzerthaus, London’s Purcell Room at the Southbank Centre, Tokyo’s Musashino Center, Théâtre Fémina in Bordeaux, Florence’s Teatro Comunale, St. Petersburg’s Philharmonia, and Palermo, Italy’s Teatro Politeama.

He will perform four pieces: Schubert’s Sonata in A Minor, D 784, Schumann’s, Carnaval, Op. 9, Beethoven’s Sonata No. 7 in D Major, Op. 10 No. 3, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
