Chapel, Vespers and other events are happening this week

This week in chapel, we welcome Gail Song Bantum as guest speaker. She is passionate about prophetically calling people, groups and organizations to become all that God says they are, through the lens of identity, leadership development and discipleship. Come listen to the message Gail has as we continue our theme of “Belief” this morning (Tuesday) at 10:50 a.m. in Bauman Auditorium.

During Vespers this week (Wednesday at 7 p.m.), we’ll look at Romans 3 and dive deeper into the idea of being one.

Wednesday night after Vespers, info meetings for EMBRACE (Outreaches to Department of Health Services, foster parents and children in care) as well as Big/Little Bruins are scheduled, so stick around in Bauman to hear about those ministries.

On Thursday, Sept. 29, the first Matheteis forum of the year will be in Canyon Commons from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Leroy Barber, Steve Winterberg and student contributors will be talking about “Faith, Race and Politics.” RSVP at this link.

Lastly, Colloquium with Kris Kays on the topic of sex is beginning on Oct. 3 with limited sign-up spots.

See you in chapel and Vespers!
