‘Evening of Jazz’ concert plays tonight in Bauman Auditorium

The music department welcomes the campus community to “An Evening of Jazz” concert tonight (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium. Featured will be jazz pianist Benny Green, who will perform with the George Fox University Jazz Ensemble and Faculty Trio.

Green is a hard-swinging improvisor and master of the piano. He is a former member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and has toured and recorded with Betty Carter, Freddie Hubbard, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, and countless other jazz luminaries.

George Fox students and employees are entitled to one free ticket, available with a current university ID presented at the door. Complimentary tickets may also be reserved – and additional tickets purchased – at this link.
