Passport event scheduled on Newberg campus Wednesday and Thursday

It’s back … Passport Day! Do you need a new passport? Do you need to renew your passport? If you answered yes to either one of these questions, then you will not want to miss this opportunity.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 7-8, the university will host a representative from the Dundee Post Office to take your photo and help you process your passport application. This piece of document is very important if you intend to travel outside of the country. Listed below are Passport Day details:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 7 – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 8 – 9 a.m. – noon

Fees:

Adult first-time applicants (age 16 years and older who do not currently hold a valid passport book or card)

  • Adult Passport and Card, $140 + $25 (execution fee)
  • Adult Passport Book, $110 + $25 (execution fee)
  • Adult Passport Card, $30 + $25 (execution fee)

Adult renewal applicants (age 16 years and older who currently hold a valid passport book or card)

  • Adult Passport and Card, $140
  • Adult Passport Book, $110
  • Adult Passport Card, $30

You can read more on the price and regulations at this link. The picture fee is $15. If you wish to save a little bit of cash, you are more than welcome to get your picture taken at places such as Walgreens or Costco.

Remember to bring your photo ID. Both sessions will take place in the Cap and Gown Room on the Newberg campus. Please note that when you arrive to have your passport done you will need to pay at that time, and you can only pay by either cash or check (no credit cards will be accepted).
