A few parking reminders for staff, faculty and adjuncts: Security has been tallying parking tickets, and an unfortunate amount were written to staff who hadn’t either registered their cars on MyGFU or had forgotten their parking permits. If you’ve had a change of vehicles, please delete your previous listing and then email Nadine Kincaid so she can re-assign your permit to the new vehicle.

The university is charged every time we have to run license plates with the DMV, so please come and get a temporary parking pass at the security office if you forgot your parking permit. Better yet, it’s just $5 cash per permit for additional ones so you don’t have to remember to switch from car to car in the early-morning madness.

Also, if your permit is in tatters, just bring the shards to the security office for a new one. Step-by-step instructions are on the George Fox website on the vehicle registration page.

And lastly, please don’t park in the visitor rows in the Hoover, Stevens and VAC lots so our guests will have easy access to parking.
