Charlie Self speaks on campus twice today

Join us this morning (Tuesday) and tonight for free presentations featuring Charlie Self, professor of church history at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Mo.

Self will speak twice on the Newberg campus. In the morning, he will present “Liberated for the Life in the World” in the 10:40 a.m. chapel service in Bauman Auditorium (chapel credit is available). After chapel, a book table will be set up in the lobby where you can purchase his books.

In the evening, he will speak on “Flourishing Communities: New Synergies” at 6:30 p.m. in Hoover 105.

Self helps oversee major grants for the integration of faith, work and economics for the Kern Family Foundation. He is the author or coauthor of three books: The Divine Dance (2003), The Power of Faithful Focus (2004), and Flourishing Churches and Communities: A Pentecostal Primer on Faith, Work, and Economics (2013).
