Islamic, Christian views of Mary discussed Monday
The campus community is invited to the next installment of the “Islam and the West” Liberal Arts and Critical Issues series this Monday, Sept. 22, in Hoover 105.
The session runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and features Mariam Ali, from the Islamic Center of Portland, and Nathan Lewis, pastor at Evergreen Presbyterian Church. They will discuss “The Islamic and Christian Views of Mary, the Mother of Jesus.”
The same session is presented from 5 to 6 p.m.; however, it is recommended that the general public attend the evening session, if possible.
