Laura Gifford (History) presented a paper, “Piercing Leathered Hides and Stultified Thinking: Tom McCall and the ‘Third Force’ of the Watergate Era,” at the Institute for Policy History’s Policy History Conference in Columbus, Ohio, June 4. She also chaired and commented upon a panel titled “Forging Conservative Coalitions in Modern America.”
